Shaped like a small hollowed stone lifted from a riverbed, this pendant leans fully into wabi-sabi's appreciation for natural, imperfect texture rather than a smooth, machine-finished surface. Iwa's shade is cast to look like porous, sun-worn rock, letting warm light spill through its uneven surface in soft, uneven patches rather than a single even beam. It is offered in two silhouette styles, labeled A and B, each with a slightly different stone shape, and in two warm stone tones, so the look can lean lighter or darker depending on the room. The shade is cast stone, suspended from an adjustable cord so the hanging height can be set once it is installed, and it runs on a standard E27 base with an included LED bulb rated for a warm 3000K glow, closer to candlelight than a bright white. It is not dimmable, so the fixture is either fully on or off rather than adjustable in between, and it draws power from a wide 90 to 260 volt range with worldwide voltage compatibility.
